Dr Gotchair-Rose

Dr. Gatchair-Rose

Dr. Gatchair-Rose attended medical school at The University of the West Indies and after completing a two year internship migrated to the United States where she did internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism was completed at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Since completing training, Dr. Gatchair-Rose has achieved many years of experience in both academic as well as private practice. She believes in the "team" approach to patient care with the patient being the star player and strives to educate and involve the patient at all times in decision making.

 

Dr. Andres Palacio

Dr. Palacio

Andres was born in Columbia, South America. He went to medical school at Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud in Medellin, Columbia. In 2002, he came to the United States to Emory University in Atlanta. At Emory, Andres did Internal Medicine followed by Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Andres completed his fellowship in June 2007 and has been in Macon since August 2007. He has done research on diabetes and has several publications on the subject. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. A member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society, patient care is Andres’s main priority and the reason why he decided to be an M.D

   

John Sink II, PA-C, CDE

John Sink II, PA-C, CDE, CLS

John was born in western Pennsylvania and moved to Georgia in 1982. After graduating from Macon College, he attended Georgia College where he received his BS in Biology. Just a few short years later he graduated from the Medical College of Georgia earning his BS in Physician Assistant. John is the Officer at Large for the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology and a Certified Clinical Lipid Specialist. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants. John is also Co-Chairman of the National Lipid Association, the first PA in the country to co-chair the group.

   

Steve Parker

Steve Parker, PA-C

Steve is a native of Middle Georgia. He earned his AAS in Health Science and AS in Business Administration at Macon College and went on to earn his BS in Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia in 2001 at which time he joined The Jones Center. Steve is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, American Society of Endocrine Physician Assistants, the National Lipid Association, and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants. He is also co-founder and co-leader of the Jones County Diabetes and Wellness Support Group.

   

Lori Parker

Lori Parker, PA-C

Lori began her medical career working as a Registered Nurse in emergency medicine. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in the Physician Assistant program in 1998. Prior to joining The Jones Center in 2005, Lori worked in Internal Medicine. Lori is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, American Society of Endocrine Physician Assistants, and the National Lipid Association, and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants. Lori is also co-founder and co-leader of the Jones County Diabetes and Wellness Support Group.
