Andres was born in Columbia, South America. He went to medical school at Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud in Medellin, Columbia.
In 2002, he came to the United States to Emory University in Atlanta. At Emory, Andres did Internal Medicine followed by Endocrinology,
Diabetes, and Metabolism. Andres completed his fellowship in June 2007 and has been in Macon since August 2007. He has done research on
diabetes and has several publications on the subject. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. A member of the American Association of
Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society, patient care is Andres’s main priority and the reason why he decided to be an M.D |
